Tim Turner

My role at BRAC UK includes financial oversight of our overseas programmes and day to day management of BRAC UK’s own finances. I work with finance staff in our overseas partner organisations and with the UK Partnerships team to fulfil our donor reporting and compliance obligations as well as to develop new programmes and proposals.

I have over 15 years’ experience working in finance-related roles in the charity and non-profit sector and over 5 years working for international NGOs, previously working for Health Poverty Action before joining BRAC in March 2021. I am passionate about social justice and motivated by BRAC’s ‘bottom up’ approach to development and position as the leading Global South NGO.

In my time at BRAC UK, I have worked with project teams bringing hope to the poorest communities in Tanzania, Uganda, Sierra Leone and Bangladesh and was privileged to visit two of those projects in Uganda earlier in 2022. In my spare time, I am usually to be found closer to home, walking, cycling or climbing mountains!
