I joined BRAC in July 2023 as the Partnerships Officer for Africa. In my role, I am responsible for assisting with fundraising strategies and plans to secure diversified funding for Africa programmes, whilst also supporting in-country teams with project coordination and donor compliance.

Prior to BRAC, I was the Programmes and Partnerships Manager at ARK Group International, a UK based organization focussed on supporting investment and fundraising efforts on behalf of small growing businesses that are advancing sustainable development goals across Africa. At ARK, I worked across an array of sectors, ranging from waste management, off-grid energy, agriculture, circular economies, and conservation. My work heavily involved supporting domestic firms to access grant funding and break down the systematic barriers they face when interacting with the donor landscape.

My professional interests include poverty alleviation, global value chains, social enterprise development, climate resilience and adaptation, and migration. I hold an MSc in Development studies from SOAS and possess extensive experience in policy analysis and research.

It is an absolute pleasure to work at BRAC and be a part of a wonderful team. BRAC possesses an impressive track record of addressing poverty and inequality through innovative and sustainable approaches. BRAC’s emphasis on scalability, impact, and mission to empower the most marginalised communities and individuals, especially women and girls, aligns with my own philosophy of development.
