I joined BRAC UK in January 2023 as Finance Director, with responsibility for managing BRAC UK’s finances and its financial relationships with the wider BRAC.

I began my career at PwC and then spent 12 years in a range of different financial roles at the BBC including at the World Service, Sport department, and the Corporate centre. After a year volunteering overseas I moved across to the NGO sector, initially at the British Red Cross and then to Farm Africa, including in the Kenya country office and latterly as Finance Director. After five years at Farm Africa I moved to the Motivation Charitable Trust, a disability inclusion INGO and social enterprise, as Finance Director, and from there to BRAC. My professional experience includes strategic financial planning, regulatory compliance, business process improvement, and financial capacity building.

I am a chartered accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and hold a degree in politics and history from Durham University. I am also a trustee of the Exodus Travels Foundation, a charitable foundation with the mission to improve life through travel in hard-to-reach places.
