Alexander Wheeler
As a Program Officer at BRAC USA, Alex is dedicated to our Research, Innovation, and Learning portfolio, which focuses on applied research, technology integration, and data systems for education, community health, skills development, and youth empowerment. Alex is also involved in broader program activities led by our Chief Program Officer, and manages institutional partnerships and public engagement with our President & CEO.
Before joining BRAC USA, Alex was a Princeton in Asia (PiA) fellow at AIP Foundation in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, where he developed child injury prevention and road safety projects in Cambodia, China, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam. He also conducted research on global education innovations at the Brookings Institution’s Center for Universal Education. Alex holds a BA in Political Economy from Georgetown University, where he studied humanitarian ethics, divisions of household labor, and masculinity.
