Nina Black

“I joined BRAC UK in October 2020 as Advocacy Advisor. I have a background in advocacy and campaigns for international organisations. Most recently, I worked at the Climate Group, an NGO working to accelerate action on climate change, and previously I worked at the Royal Institute of International Affairs, Chatham House. I have also had previous roles at Portland Communications and BBC World News. I am interested in all things related to international development, politics and sustainability. I have a joint honours degree in History and Modern Languages from Oxford University.
My role includes the delivery of BRAC UK’s parliamentary engagement, communicating political intelligence to key stakeholders, and developing policy and advocacy materials. I believe that cross-sector collaboration is paramount to achieving sustainable change – particularly by building networks and coalitions with a common goal, in order to combat major societal problems and rid the world of extreme poverty.”
