I joined BRAC in 2020 after being coaxed out of consultancy to join this unique organisation.  My role at BRAC in the UK is to lead the team helping to raise resources for BRAC programmes in Africa and Asia by developing partnerships with local and global organisations, including donor agencies, Trusts and Foundations, Governments, academic and research institutions, and individuals.

Following a successful first career in publishing with BBC Studios and then Hachette Livre Group, I made the decision after 7 years to move into the not for profit and then the development sector to follow my passion to work in some small way toward improving equality, and social justice.

I have 25 years’ experience in resource mobilisation, and hope that I bring a broad range of knowledge and expertise, specialising in strategy, business development, and high value fund raising. I’ve held senior income generation and leadership roles at Save the Children, Camfed International, The Natural History Museum, RSPB and UNICEF.

I’m proud to be part of the large BRAC family all striving with great ambition to achieve an end to extreme poverty in our lifetimes.

I am also a Trustee of a small UK children’s heart health charity that is close to my family.
