BRAC UK announces Ken Caldwell as its new Chair of Trustees
BRAC UK has announced that Ken Caldwell has joined as its new Chair of Trustees. He has taken up the position after Simone Sultana completed her maximum term as Chair of the BRAC UK Board of Trustees.
Mr Caldwell, who has extensive experience in development and the Not for Profit sector, said “I am delighted to be joining such a unique organisation at a really exciting time in its evolution as it looks to achieve the ambitious goal of creating opportunities for 250 Million people around the world by 2030.” He is also currently serving as a trustee and Chair of the Programme Committee at Oxfam GB and has previously served as Executive Director of WaterAid International, International Director at Save the Children and Non-Executive Director at the Institute of Development Studies.
Lewis Temple, Chief Executive of BRAC UK, paid tribute to the outgoing Chair of Trustees, Simone Sultana.
